From the sound of it, I'd say he needs to add the following roles so people could join his team:

- Web Developer
- Software Engineer/Developer
- Someone with an Education/Teaching/Learning background

What type of technology is he looking into? I really like Arvixe (which hosts this site) and I've heard of good things from Bluehost. I'd stay far away from GoDaddy. I had nothing but issues with them. I would also choose the web hosting company LAST. If you don't know the infrastructure you're working with, then what's the rush getting the hosting company? If he does, then that's a bit different.

Hey therdivision (Larry)! Thanks for joining up with me. I've been thinking about this idea for a while. I think it would be a cool way to snapshot what's going on with our media. Any ideas on how we could do something like this? We should see if we can find a software developer/engineer to help out.

Hey kchardin. I saw your idea, you should add the types of roles you might be looking for. I have some experience doing websites, so if you're not quite sure what you need, I can help you pinpoint what to add.

Are there any other roles you may need for this project? I know there's a lot of people excited about it. What about someone for music? Need some background actors in a coffee shop or something? ;-)

We need people to help do this. Great idea!

About a year ago I was thinking to myself, how cool would it be to have something where there's 5-star quality food in a mobile restaurant. I think it could be great in this area, but even bigger in a city with a more vibrant happy hour crowd like Charlotte. I dig it.

Hi Peter. Your company is very similar to something my first company did. We specialized in mobile marketing and advertising, so I do know a little about ideas on spreading the word. I think you have to have a careful blend of high profile corporate clients and small businesses. I'm not sure what your plan is, but we found that targeting nothing but small businesses ended up being our demise. The reason was that a lot of the time, they just didn't pay the bill. Text message marketing campaigns are expensive for both you and the client, and if you don't have those big corporate clients to counter balance an occassional small business skipping out on the bill, you could find yourself in a world of hurt. That is just my two cents.

As for marketing, have you thought about partnering up with a traditional ad agency or marketing firm and being their go-to solution for clients looking to expand into the mobile market? It creates a great win-win situation for everyone.

I was recently driving through the country on vacation and thought to myself... How cool would it be if in addition to this, while I was driving it would tell me the history of the places I'm passing through. You should look into adding that as well. It would be great for mobile phones to help the time pass on long trips.
