Frequently Asked Questions

What is NoodleShare?

NoodleShare is an online community where you can post your idea and get the right kind of feedback. You can even put together your rock star team members to bring your idea to life! And once you get started, you can always come back to NoodleShare to check out all the tools and advice the community has to offer!

How do I submit an idea?

It's easy! First, you will need to sign up for an account. Once you are signed up, just log into your account and click START NEW IDEA!

Can I join any idea I want to?

Yes! Well, sort of. You can join any idea that you'd like. And as many as you can handle! The owner of the idea will then receive an email about your interest, and decide whether or not they think you are a good fit for the project.

I don't want anyone to steal my idea, what should I do?

We always tell people it's not about the idea, it's about how well you put together a great team to execute that idea. People always have the same ideas, but the successful ones have great execution. This is where NoodleShare helps the most.

However, if you are truly concerned about privacy and retaining the rights to your idea, we recommend you put generic information in your idea descriptions such as:

"New healthcare iPhone application with a crazy sci-fi twist!"

To further protect yourself, you can have your team members fill out Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) as a part of joining in.

How do I add YouTube video to my idea?

Videos are a great way for you to describe and show what your idea is all about. That's why we've made it so easy for you to add to your page!

  1. Upload a video to your YouTube account.
  2. Go to your idea page and click Edit Details in the menu.
  3. Add the URL to your YouTube video in the text box labeled Add a YouTube video by entering the URL.
  4. Click Save and that's it! Your YouTube video will now show when users go to your page.
You can also display a custom image while your video is not being played. To do this, upload your image on the Edit Details page in the text box labeled Upload an image for your idea.

What are NSPoints and how do I earn them?

NSPoints are our way of showcasing the users who have contributed the most to our community. A member with a high NSPoint total has been more active than one with a lower number. You can earn NSPoints in a variety of ways, including posting comments, joining ideas, starting a new idea and more! So rack up those NSPoints, we'll be giving out prizes and special deals to members with the highest totals.
